1965 Chevrolet C10 Pickup Supercharged LSA-Powered

Sold

Finished in red over tan leather, the truck is powered by a Whipple-supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V8 mated to a TCI StreetFighter 4L80-E four-speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9″ Positraction rear end with 3.55:1 gearing. Additional equipment includes a Roadster Shop Spec Series full chassis, Strange Engineering adjustable shock absorbers, 20″ Forgeline Grudge wheels, a Baer four-wheel big brake kit, a Zebrawood bed floor, a Vintage Air climate control system, power windows and steering, and a retro-style push-button stereo.

The body was removed from the frame and modified before receiving replacement floors, fenders, lower A-pillars, cab corners, and doors. The truck was reportedly sprayed with epoxy primer and subsequently finished in Porsche Carmine Red. A replacement windshield, rear window, and quarter vent windows were fitted and the weather stripping was replaced. Further exterior details include tucked and narrowed chrome bumpers, H4 LED headlights and taillights, polished trim, and Kindig-it Design pop-out door handles. A chrome vinyl wrap was applied to the upper portion of the cab under current ownership.

The Fleetside bed was widened, bed pockets were filled and smoothed, and custom-fabricated rear tubs were bead-rolled and fitted to accommodate larger rear wheels. The Zebrawood floor slats are said to have been imported from Africa and additional features include chrome bed rails, a fold-down tailgate, and tow hooks. A matte finish was applied to the body-color metal surfaces, and a concealed fuel filler is located at the rear of the bed.

Polished 20″ Forgeline Grudge three-piece wheels feature bronze inner lips and are mounted with 285/30 front and 345/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. A Roadster Shop Spec Series full chassis replaces the factory frame and is fitted with Strange Engineering adjustable coilovers and shock absorbers, a four-link rear suspension setup, power rack-and-pinion steering, tubular upper and lower control arms, and a front sway bar. Stopping power is provided by Baer six-piston calipers over 14″ cross-drilled and slotted two-piece rotors at each corner. A Kugel Komponents dual primary brake cylinder and a power-operated emergency brake system were also installed.
