Body-off refurbishment and modification process that involved the installation of a 6.0-liter LQ4 V8 and a 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission

The body was repainted orange and white with a white removable hardtop, and the interior was reupholstered with black vinyl and houndstooth fabric. Additional work reportedly included powder coating the frame, overhauling the NP205 dual-range transfer case, and installing a Red-Head power steering box, a hydraulically-boosted brake system, a Tuff Country suspension lift kit with Bilstein shocks, Vintage Air air conditioning, and polished 17″ Mickey Thompson wheels with 35″ BFGoodrich K02 tires.

The truck was separated from the frame, stripped, and mounted to a rotisserie before receiving a two-stage repaint in orange and white. Rust repairs are said to have been performed at that time, and replacement rocker boxes with reinforced areas added. Additional work included refinishing the hardtop in satin white and replacing the hardware and seals as well as the windshield and door glass, lenses, trim, and badges. Custom side steps, sport mirrors, and 6.0L badging were also added.

Polished 17″ Mickey Thompson MT3 Classic alloy wheels are mounted with 35×12.5″ BF Goodrich K02 tires. The suspension was modified with a Tuff Country EZ Ride 4″ lift up front and 6″ lift out back with custom-length Bilstein shocks. The brake system is said to have been fitted with a Hydroboost system and overhauled with replacement front calipers, pads, rotors, seals and bearings, along with rear drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, and seals.

The front bucket seats and rear bench were fitted with replacement foam padding and reupholstered in black vinyl with houndstooth cloth inserts

The seat belts and armrests were also replaced at that time, and additional work is said to have included replacing the carpets, dashpad, heater core, door internals, and interior bedside and door panels, as well as installing a custom drive-by-wire pedal bracket, a Vintage Air air conditioning system, and an aftermarket stereo with a Pioneer head unit.

A replacement leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a Dakota Digital instrument cluster that includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and clock, as well as gauges for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure.

The remanufactured 6.0-liter LQ4 V8 was installed using a Speartech engine management harness and a Dirty Dingo crossmember, brackets, and mounts. The engine is reportedly equipped with ceramic-coated Camaro-spec exhaust manifolds, along with a 31-gallon fuel tank with a high pressure fuel pump, a heavy-duty radiator, Painless wiring harness, and a MagnaFlow dual exhaust system.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a replacement 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission, an NP205 dual-range transfer case, and a Dana 44 front and Corporate 14-bolt rear axle with 4.56 gearing at both ends. A custom drive shaft was reportedly installed and the transfer case and axles were overhauled and resealed during the refurbishment. The frame, transfer case, axles, and steering components have been powder coated
